Soap Opera Logo Designs

We felt that it would be more beneficial for the audience if the soap actually had some sort of logo. This would mean that the soap would be easily recognised and also would give the soap opera more of a background and make it more personal. To create the logo, each person in our group researched logos and titles individually. We then created individual logos and brought them together. After looking at the designs, we put all of the ideas together and created a new title for our soap.

These are the two designs i choose to show our group as potential candidates for the final soap opera logo design. The top one is more traditional and would appear to an older audience. The second one i think would appear more to a day time elderly audience. Both have not got the potential to recruit the wide range audience members we desire and therefore cannot be chosen. Also, the sign is more closely linked to a bread company logo than that of a soap opera. Confusing the audience.

Final Idea

We simply made our logo by adding a picture of a street sign to a certain font. The font we found was 'PCMyungio' and we have chosen it because it's very simple and easy to read but also give a rural feel as well as an intelligent side. We have used a street sign that is similar to another soap, this is because we know it works well an an existing product and easily recognisable.
